What advice would give someone interested in joining a tech company?

Don't look at job titles. Look first at the JD and see if it's something you're interested in doing. Then, look at who you will be working with and see if they're somebody who you want to work with. Tech--building digital things--can be an ambiguous world and that's partly what makes it fun and exciting. But it's your team and managers who can define whether you grow in the industry or not. Ultimately, the tech industry is an industry about its people.
